Portraits

This is the moment you’ve been waiting for and why you’ve hired yours truly. The portraits. It’s time to have fun with your best friends and then cozy up together for bride + groom portraits! Even though I’ll walk you + your bridal party through the process while we’re together (dropping posing hints and bad jokes), I do have a few notes for you to rely to them before the big day!

Rule number one: Groomsmen, please leave cell phones, car keys and wallets in your BACK pocket, or at the head table. It’s totally distracting to see and a rectangle at their crotch area and when I ask them to remove it, they KNOW I was looking at that area. Save the awkwardness, spread awareness.

…That’s the only rule…

But further suggestions: pack CLEAR umbrellas in case of rain and suitable footwear for the ladies if theres walking involved!

It’s your wedding day, so don’t hold back the laughs and giggles! Take this VERY seriously as you probably think I’m joking! PLEASE just be yourselves during the bridal portraits and don’t feel shy, I want you embrace your happiness and laugh, rather just smile! Don’t pull away from each other or hide the emotions! I want to see his “I can’t believe this is my wife grin” and your crinkled nose laugh. These will be your favourite images, I promise.

During your reception, we will sneak back out for a mini-sunset session! This will consist of only you, your groom, champagne giggles, and soft lighting. Be excited. This will be your final opportunity to be captured as newlyweds together <3
