I’m not going to put you in front of the sunset, snap a few pictures and call it a day. Some photographers prefer to show up to your wedding like a fly on the wall, but not this gal.
This isn’t going to be a vendor and client contract. This isn’t going to be “now turn a little to the right” and “now smile down your shoulder”, and your engagement session certainly won’t be another “checklist” item.
This is going to be way, way more than that.
This isn’t going to be unrealistic, posed versions of yourselves. Any photographer can do that. This is no forced posing or restrictions, JUST your love and an experience tailored with you, not for you.
importance
Photography is something that I encourage you to invest in as the importance of a photo truly isn’t valued until 10 years after it’s been taken. My main priority is making sure that you are having the best time and not worrying about how your hair looks, as you know I just have it handled!
I understand how important every single detail is, that’s why I strive to make sure that in ten years from now when you open your wedding album, you not only remember how you looked on your wedding but how you FELT.
I find joy when trading unrealistic poses for real MOMENTS. Let’s have your future generations get all the feels when they see how happy you were on your wedding day.
connection
This isn’t about me, it’s about you. Just know that I’m not shooting to cover a shot-list, but to showcase the love that you have for one another. I don’t wan’t you standing in front of a tree, hands in pockets, foreheads touching. I want the two of you hand in hand, running through a field with your partner wrapping you up in the biggest “ I-haven’t seen you in four months-airport -hug ”.
Because them kissing the edges of your face, leading to motor boating you is going to get the shot of you laughing a heck of a lot cuter than “okay, now giggle at (partners name)” will.
I’m here because of my love for LOVE. I’m a people based photographer which means I don’t care if we’re on a beach at sunset or a parking lot outside the bar where you had your first date. The outcome is going to be the same. I love documenting my clients fall more in love with each other during their session and seeing HOW they love each other!
value
Odds are, this is your first wedding. And if it’s not, GREAT, you’ve had practice! I’ve literally been to hundreds of weddings and I’m going to invest everything that I’ve learned, back into your wedding day. Whether it’s how to access a permit, save $$, what to wear to your engagement session, to where to kiss when walking back down the aisle! & no, it’s not the dip we all know and assume. I’m happy to share everything I know to make your experience totally stress free!
This is why I’ve created both an Exclusive Bridal Guide and Engagement Style Guide! These guides are given to all of my clients in order to prepare them in every way possible! There are endless amounts of tips, tricks, suggestions, do’s and don’ts!
Do: let me in on the family drams so I know where to place that one aunt during the extended family shot. Don’t: do the dip walking back down the aisle (& I’ll tell you why...).
response time
Odds are, if you’re contacting me, it’s probably because you share a special relationship with someone you love. Maybe it’s a fiancé, a family, or yourself!
Well, I just happen to have three beautiful babies and a fiance myself! I do not respond to emails outside of my office hours of Tuesday’s through Thursday’s (I reserve weeknights for sessions, Monday’s are my day off and my weekends for weddings)!
So if you don’t hear from me on a Sunday afternoon, it’s just because I’m trying to focus on the good things in life bestie (like some self love at the spa or kiddos little toes running around the living room)!
Thanks so freakin’ much for understanding!
