A vintage engagement

Everyone, meet Broc and Brittany! They are some of the kindest, most fun people I’ve had the pleasure of working with! I really loved getting to know them and being able to capture their fun personalities! Truthfully, they made my job so easy. I’m so lucky to work with such awesome clients as an Ottawa wedding photographer.

Broc and Brittany have such a cute love story! They met at the Heart and Crown in Barrhaven. Brittany says that Broc caught her eye because he was dancing with an older lady while her husband was off dancing (the older woman’s, NOT Brittany’s LOL). It instantly melted her heart! They bonded over pizza at 2am and have been inseparable ever since. Some things they enjoy doing together include trying new beers, spending the summer at the lake, and snowmobiling in the winter. They currently live out in the country with their Boxer puppy, Mabel (as seen below!). Broc proposed while they were on a trip to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.

We took their engagement pictures at the Mill of Kintail in Almonte, Ontario! This is one of my absolute favorite locations because it’s stunning during any time of the year! But if I had to choose, I’d say summer sessions here are my favorite. The Mill of Kintail has a fun bridge over the stream, lots of trees and a big field where you can get a perfect view of the sunset.

Broc and Brittany added a little personal touch to their shoot and brought along Brittany’s dad’s vintage car! It was so much fun to photograph and looked beautiful in their pictures! These two got married September 12th and had one of my associates take their wedding photos. Another fun connection: I got to see Broc again this summer because he was a groomsman and the MC at another one of my weddings! It’s always such a pleasure to see my sweet clients while doing what I do best!
