Well hello there Courtney + Sean! I had the best time shooting this happy couple's engagements at the Arboretum in Ottawa. This location is just as classic as it gets. It's full of trails, trees, bridges, and so many more hidden gems. Every time I photograph here I found a new treasure that is perfect for a photoshoot. I love it here!

These two love birds met through a mutual friend. Courtney's best friend of 10+ years worked with Sean and introduced the two of them. Their first date was at Starbucks, where they were both so nervous, they never even ended up getting a drink. Instead, they just talked for hours until they were finally kicked out at the closing time. They didn't want the night to end, so they moved locations and continued to talk the night away!!

They both agree they hit it off right away. Courtney affectionately says Sean is a nerd because he loves Harry Potter, yet, Sean laughs because Courtney can quote all the movies just as well as he can! They love doing anything together, whether it's staying home and binge-watching their tv shows or going out on the town for a romantic date night.

A couple of months after they moved in together, Sean surprised Courtney with their dog Boomer. They love to bring him anywhere, which includes their engagement session! Boomer was totally the star of the show, which is no surprise because just look how cute he is!

They also brought their videographer, Elephant Shoe Media, which was SUCH a cool idea for the engagement shoot! Most people don't get engagement footage and I think that is going to be such a fun memory to have! Especially the part where we noticed the nude yoga happening at the Arboretum during our session. Keep scrolling and you'll see the moment we noticed the naked people. Kudos to them!

Courtney + Sean are getting married at Temples Sugarbush in Ottawa, ON this October and I get to tag along. Yay! I can't wait to photograph their wedding and be part of their (and Boomers!) special day!
